Streamlining the Blog:

I'll be away again for a while, loyal readers; but I'll be back in a couple of weeks with more reflections.  In the meantime, you may have noticed that I have streamlined this blog a bit.  I hope that the result is a more readable, less overwhelming appearance.  Remember that you can easily find older entries by checking the archives.  If you've seen something on here that you like, it's still available.  I've just tried to make the front page a little less intimidating.
